My Windows 11 is not the Pro version; mine is Windows 11 Home . The instructions for sandbox specifically reference Windows 10&11 PRO . So, I assume I cannot do the sandbox thing. Let me know.

Unfortunately, I'm still having the same result. The only other thing for me to try would be to wipe computer completely and reinstall everything, including Windows 11 from scratch. That might make a difference. Who knows.
I have "show running applications" turned on in the dock settings and I launch them from the Start Menu, then I select "pin to dock." Then, I close those apps and when I try to launch them from the pinned shortcuts on the dock, those apps won't open. Please try my method and see if you get the same results. I don't use the desktop method you described. That method should not be needed if you have "show running applications" turned on.
No other dock software in use or installed - only Objectdock. Windows 11 version 23H2 22631.4169. My Windows installation is a clean one - no other third party software. Are you able to replicate my issue? Can you try, please?
Certain Window UWP apps won't launch when pinned to a quick launch dock OR a tabbed dock when using Objectdock 3 on latest Windows 11. For example - Windows Calculator, Windows Settings, and Windows Photos. The Calculator attempts to open, but then closes itself. Settings when pinned to dock won't launch at all. Same with Photos. These apps WILL show up on the dock (if running apps set to display) when launched from Start menu, but will not launch when pinn

Yes, that was what I had in mind. :)
Thanks! I saw the reply. Much appreciated! :)
Windows 10 Home 21H1 19043.1288: Start11 - Missing Symbols/Graph
Hello, I the symbols/graphics for Restart, Sleep, and Shut down are missing when you click the power button on Start11 Menu (Windows 11 theme). The image appears, with a vertical line and the words for Restart, Sleep, and Shut down. See attached. (or is this by design - just appears that something is missing). I'm running this on latest Windows 10 Home (NOT Windows 11). <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/62/87/6287718/5e587f26-048e-461c-b905-084a3ab42f3d.
No replies yet? Darn! Does anyone know what I am talking about here? Please let me know if I'm unclear.
Hi, I have ObjectDock 2.2 on Windows 8.1, and I have show running applications, minimize windows to dock, group windows by application, and enable aero peek all set on my dock. The aero peek function SEEMS to work, EXCEPT for the fact that clicking the "X" on the aero peek window closes the aero peek windows but does not close the actual application window as it normally does when using aero peek on the windows task bar. Now, my question is: is this a bug in objectdock or is this by des
I have the same problem! The minimize/maximize animation is slow, choppy, and overall inconsistent. I have a fast computer with plenty of RAM (8 GB) and I still experience problems with it. It annoyed me so much that I just turned it off. I still show minimized windows on my Dock, but I use the following setting, which does not use the animation effect: <span style="text-decoration: underli
you have the free version of objectdock, but it should work the same. you should have an icons folder in the weather docklet directory. somehow, it must've gotten deleted. you need to reinstall your version of objectdock. that should fix it.
XiKano, do the icons appear in the weather docklet icon folder? C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\Docklets\Weather\icons Did you try removing the weather docklet and then re-adding it back to the dock?
YAY! Same here! So, I guess this wasn't an issue on Stardock's side, but something with AccuWeather that they must have corrected on their end.
I submitted a ticket to tech support; will see what they say. I could be wrong about the cause of the issue, just a guess based on what i've read online.
gwt10 - apparently, this has happened before in previous releases. I think Startdock hard codes the call to the weather provider (accuweather) and if accuweather changes their setup, it breaks the feed to the app. Stardock will have to release a patch to fix the issue.
The thing is, it HAD been working perfectly from the start, at least for me. Today is the first time it failed. I have Win 8.1 with Start Screen tiles for MSN Weather and AccuWeather, so this is not critical for me either, but more of a "nice to have." Convenient having an icon directly on the dock showing current weather conditions. Hopefully it will resolve soon.
I am having the same EXACT issue as of today, 1/27/2015; the weather docklet seemed to fail between 9 AM and 10 AM this morning, and has been showing N/A, "Internet not available." It was working fine prior to that. Please assist. I've even tried removing and adding back the weather docklet, to no avail. Also re-installed Object Dock, and weather docklet is still not working. Have made no changes to my PC regarding software or hardware.
