Congratulations! Good work. ~SDC~

Vedrics as you can see the developers and other users are open to suggestions. While at the same time enjoying what the game already is. It is fun to explore what a game might become as we all help it evolve. But in the mean time could you possibly post your threads titles with a possitive attitude? It would be much appreciated. Thank you. ~SDC~
Kjartan Mannes, Thank you, I have that configured. And so far am getting all updates. But you see I believe Brad is planning a seperate issolated group of the old testing croud to try major features over the next few months. And I got the feeling that maybe fixing this would be going through those that were only in the beta, gamma, croud first. Sounds like a major fix anyhow and will probably be implemented for everyone to some extent in the following week. ~SDC~
Simple evil Klingons did leave a bad tast in my mouth too. but there were finally hints of evolving to understanding in the series. ~SDC~

Thank you I find honesty is less complicated. ~SDC~
I heard mention of Political Machine. I would like to try an early build of that. ~SDC~
Try right clicking on the GalCiv Forum button and sellecting "Rest List." ~SDC~
Dead on! ~SDC~

"Buy this game! It’s got the right mix of polish, fun, value, and broad appeal to make it an all around winner." http://www.gamezilla.com/review.aspx?review=8552 ~SDC~
Understandable but please don't leave it in Beta very long. Perhaps option for anyone that wouldlike to have the Beta could? Maybe good idea maybe not? ~SDC~
Right on! Thank you Kavak! Now what effect does Crl+R have? Anyone? ~SDC~
Let me pop in a comment here about post such as Gezz's where he stated he was going the extra effort to purchase this product even though he has easy access to boot leg copies. (By the way the final product is far better in game balance, I know.) I am right in the US of A. Lakewood just south of Tacoma Washington. And yet I am in a sub culture FAR removed from normal society. I have multiple disabilities. Mental illness and transient strokes. The people I associate with in person are i
Glad you cought it. Even gladder I have no doubt you will catch such things and fix them. ~SDC~
Mythor that is why i was suggesting grey scale type lines overlaying the races, its much easier to remember checker, 1:30-7:30 diagonal (imagine a clock face), 10:30-4:30 diagonal, Vertical, horizontal lines, checker diagonal, etc. Color blind or not you can see them. I also find settling on a set of names for the species helps to associate them. See if you can guess who they are; Blood-Monkies, Dweebs, Inbreads, Glub-Glubs, Mecha. :) ~SDC~
Thank you for making it a sticky. The MOD forum is growing fast. ~SDC~
In my favorite media player "Media Jukebox" I do the following Click "File" Click "Export Playlist" Then choose M3U format and drop it in my C: root directory. As for making playlist in your favorite player select a few track and right click on them. You will usually get the option to make create a playlist. Then as BoogieBac says, after GalCiv is running click on "Menu" "Options" then sellect playlist. Personally I have other game music, jazz, Led Zep
Purhaps all minor races the same color but with the first letter of their species stamped in the small dot on the mini map. I like many others only play the game after a days effort usually at the computer screen. So even for the not color blind it can be difficult but improved over the coming months. Purhaps diagonal lines vs waves as well as colors would make it much easier to distinguish. ~SDC~
I saw a quick reference to Ctr N I think it was said to be an undocumented function? Could someone elaborate what the actual effects of these short cuts have. Ctr+R is refresh sensors but how can I see a differance? ~SDC~
It's a nod to the original Star Trek television series. Note the KABOOM.mp3 in the game is a phaser and the shape of the survey ship is like the enterprise. I was a little too vocal in the suggestion thread about the obsolete phaser sound. But a nod to a cultural rareity like that series that explored moral, political and emotional conflict is worthy from any science fiction effort like GalCiv. And the overall theme of Star Trek wasn't really Americanism, it was freedom. A glo
I'll pay another $10 bucks for an Epic Generator AND a rapid visual replay. Either alone would be rather weak. But together we would have an enormously gratifying experience for our hard fought efforts. ~SDC~
