My mistake. I remember now I pulled Galactic Beauties on the very slim chance that one of the six ladies might of been offended by my using one of their images in a sci-fi setting. I may of even asked that question before. I had a baby brain stroke a couple years ago and I still forget a lot of things. Still it is nice to see so many of the other three mods have been used. This is a great game that only gets better, and that can not be said for many other franchises.

Sorry if my other post in the "Galactic Forum" shows up later but it didn't seem to work so I am posting here. I see my other three mods are still up and am happy to see so many downloads. But the real star was Galactic Beauties, and its missing. I was wondering if it was maybe too out of date to work? I would be willing to update it as I got some real nice feedback about that MOD. Super glad to see GC is still growing, it is a facinating game. A bunch of my games were stolen

Congratulations! I have been away for a while. When I got busy my Galactic Beauties was the only Media mod. This was to my surprise as Bink files and such are so easy to mod. I'm a Star Trek kind of guy but I sure am glad to see the people getting what they want. I know it took you a lot of time and even if the thanks thin out, be assured as long as your mod works well, it will be quitly enjoyed for some time to come. Last I checked I think GB was over a 1000 downloads, SW would certain

I vote for a simple parallel submission and scoring for MODDed gmae scores. That way any modded user computer will go into a blanket scoring that can be, or not be taken seriously. if they are far differant than non-modded scores than the user base will see it, and judge for themselves. Personnally I don't take the metaverse scoring so seriously since uploading scores is spotty anyhow. And it really is a game of competeing against your own best games. And i would rather not see

Get a copy of SimCity 4 and use its music. I don't remember if it was mp3 or what. It's easy to convert to mp3. go to zdnet and search the downloads section for "convert mp3" I use dbSomething or another. i am not at home right now. Anyhow, keep your conversions to 160 bit or below so they will work in GalCiv. SimCity 4 is great. Also the music from Stronghold and Stronghod Crusdaer. I grabbed it from sordandpistal.com Instrimental jazz like Miles Davis. And For the upbeat, Ste

A lot more events. A pack of Stardock certified user made events would be fine too. The alarm clock Moo3 gave. Of course with Moo3 everyone fell asleep in the first hour. But GalCiv begsfor it. I was up till 2:30 Am thismorning and I really need my sleep.

I have noticed a couple pro reviewers noted your record of continued support of your product. and the overall 80's scoring says the rest. Strategy gamers are willing to work through a few bugs. As we get a very long term return on our investment. And value continued development. It is not only Stardock that has a good rep. Strategy First has proven to support other product post development. Disciples 2 recieved value added content. Real improvements that the users ask

Meant to say GalCiv beat to the punch. I am recovering from a stroke so my wording gets muddled. Anyhow, in fairness, although I uploaded the Galactic Beauties twice to the library neigther time did I get a confirmation screen. It's just under 1.7 Meg MOD. So that may be an issue. I will try again in a few days. When I can borrow a phone line.

Only 10 hours access at home. Or I would help. As for testing random events. HERE IS HOW I BECAME ABLE TO TRIGGER RANDOM EVENTS: Renamed the original *.EVENT files .DIS EVENT . Then placed my event in the data directory. I used an advanced game save game where all five races had just been met. But you could just buy another survey ship right at the start and send them off to the far reaches until other species are found. The reason I would prefer all species found is becaus

I can e-mail the AJ saucy pcx to anyone. I only pulled it because the conversations about her were getting to adult in the forum. RustyBlade1964@yahoo.com I read in a thread a couple days ago that Frogboy was planning to make a parralel MOD library for those that are Stardock certified. As for my MODS I have a massive one coming up! ~SDC~

HawaiiFive-O, I hope to see some humor mods from you. That bit about "Not worthy of our..." etc was good. Yes humor is most desirable. And it is the humourous aspects of GalCiv that make more like a peer than a dry if, and, or, but, machine. If I am able I plan to do a humourous total conversion. And would welcome the ability to have a FILE like the EVENT files woth random responces to certain situations. The responces in the trade screens are very good. But the ability to add

I am glad to help in fine tuning this very powerful tool. It makes the game better, more enjoyable, and thats what MODding is all about. Indeed the remedies HawaiiFive-O has outlined above worked just fine. I was able to correct the MOD, play test it, and re-submit it today. Awesome. And of course will be grabbing this new build. I will also be sending you the finished MOD that is very text heavy but stays within the dialog boxes, in game. ~SDC~

My experience with submission and editing my mods and deleting one has worked very well. I would suggest that you try uploading from another computer, perhaps a Internet cafe, or a friends computer. PC's are troubling frustraiting things sometimes. When no one is looking I sometimes use a pencil and paper. ~SDC~
