So, no replies with a fix. Is this really how ObjectDock is supposed to work? I just assumed there would be an option I could toggle, or at worst I'd have to fiddle with OD's startup settings. This delay in the dock appearing seems like a somewhat absurd flaw in a program designed to replace desktop icons -- your computer is on and running, but you can't do anything until OD finally pops up later? So, my laptop boots relatively quickly -- the desktop appears after about eight seconds, and I can immediately click icons to open programs or browsers. However, the ObjectDock doesn't appear for another 12 seconds. So, if I want to use Objectdock instead of desktop icons, right now I basically more than double my boot time. Is there a setting I'm missing to make the dock load immediately with the desktop?
