Did the burn away affect leave windows fx? when it the affect is applied it does not burn like it use to now it fades upwards whats up??

Sometimes especially when installing something on my pc like a game or software windowsfx stops working and when moving around a window it disappears and then reappears when i let it go with the mouse why is this? i'm fully updated and i really like this software but if it keeps doing this im not going to buy it please help.

i have patched my pc with UltraUXThemePatcher_2.5.4 and have aeroglass to will this still work with this on my pc?

when i press start to see the menu its too big i cant see the picture at the top i picked windows 7 theme but still all of them are too big, i tried adjusting my resolution and display but thats not it, this is the only problem holding me back from purchasing this and decor8 too. plz help!! btw how do i disable it when i dont want to use it?? because when i change it too windows 8 theme in start8 it just turns the hole theme into a little square in the corner:(</
