Help with Start8, too big!

when i press start to see the menu its too big i cant see the picture at the top i picked windows 7 theme but still all of them are too big, i tried adjusting my resolution and display but thats not it, this is the only problem holding me back from purchasing this and decor8 too.

plz help!! 

btw how do i disable it when i dont want to use it??

because when i change it too windows 8 theme in start8 it just turns the hole theme into a little square in the corner:(

Out of interest did you set it to allocate room for many icons on the configure page?

For the size of the Windows 8 menu, you control the size of that on the Style page once you have picked Windows 8 style.  It sounds like you wanted Full screen.
