Sorry, I missed all this. I am running 4.12 on Windows 11. Glad to hear they have identified the problem and a fix is in the pipeline! Best wishes, Edd

I have tried a new installation of Fences on a new installation of Windows 11, so basically almost a new computer, and the problem still exists. How can I be the only user who can't scroll their Fences? This is truly bizarre. Hope you guys roll out a fix soon...
I'll give that a try. Thanks!
I'm not sure what you mean by that. We were just talking about the video I made illustrating the problem. The password is just to access the video and see the problem as it happens.
Sorry about that. I couldn't seem to make it completely password-free, so I instead gave it the password Fences1 so try that. Thanks!
Here is a link to a video illustrating my problem. You'll see me trying to drag the scroll bars but the only thing that happens is sometimes they zip to the bottom and stay there. Also you'll see that when I hover over them the scroll bars illuminate and fill the entire height of the window - in the past they would only illuminate a portion of it, in order to show that more items were available above and/or below to scroll to. I also demonstrate that when I click on the icon
Unfortunately changing the screen scaling did not make any difference. I turned it down to 200%, and then to 150%, but no improvement. Of course that would not have been a practical solution as it would have rendered the laptop unusable as everything is too small to see! Normally I would uninstall and reinstall the ap, but of course I did that to solve another problem and that's what led us here. Thanks for helping! Edd
My screen is 3840 x 2160 and the display scaling is set at 250%.
I uninstalled Fences, rebooted, then reinstalled, and now the endless update cycle has gone away, so thanks for that! However, I have another problem now. The scroll function within the individual Fences no longer works properly since this update. The slide bar at the right-hand side runs the full length of the Fence, showing no space above or below to indicate where there are more items to scroll to offscreen, even though I know there are plenty of items to scroll t
I updated Fences 4 today, and appear to be stuck in an update loop. The installation completes, then asks for a reboot. Upon rebooting the PC Object Desktop shows the update is once more available, and if I run the installation again it completes successfully, then asks for a reboot, and on and on in a cycle.
Thanks for looking into it for me. I was just puzzled because if we can hide the folders in the start menu's Recent Items list we ought to be able to hide them in this fence too, regardless of which of those ways we are using to access the actual Windows "Recent Items" folder. I look forward to that feature if and when it appears! Many thanks.
When you say you don't think Fences can do that, I wasn't sure if you meant creating the Recent Items fence or controlling what appears within it. So I enclose two screenshots illustrating what I did to create a Recent Items fence: First, right-click on the Recent Items menu option, and choose "Show this folder on the desktop" from the context menu... <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/60/7/6007905/c9d4c1e1-1abb-4631-9012-d087d931b55e.jpg" alt="Start10 Menu o
The "Recent Items" menu entry in my Start10 menu is great - it lists all the recent files I have accessed - documents, music, videos, etc. One day I thought "Wouldn't it be great to have another fence on my desktop that contained this Recent Items list, and it would save me a couple of clicks every time I want to access one." And so I right-clicked on it and lo and behold there is an option to move it to the desktop as a fence. Job done! But then I discovered t
