After Windows 10 did a mandatory update, Deskscapes no longer works. All that appears is a black background. I can make regular pictures appear if I disable Deskscapes...
POST
Yes, that was a HUGE help, thank you! It's unfortunate that I can't edit my search text. EDIT: I got the text box figured out! Everything is perfect! You're the best DaveBax, thank you.
Hi all. I have a 1920x1080 monitor on the left, and a 3840x2160 monitor on the right. Everything scales just perfectly and beautifully for my desktops animated wallpaper, but when I set anything for screen saver it is literally half broken. It looks as though the 1920x1080 is being rendered on my 4K monitor and vice versa. Is there any way to fix this? I was really hoping to use this for a beautiful custom screen saver....
I have a theme applied, but I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to change the color of the text typed into the search bar in the Start Menu, as well as the color of the text for programs ON the start menu. Also, I need to change the font of the TimeClock on the TaskBar. I've tried every single setting and nothing worked. Is there a thorough guide for what each color setting modifies in the "customize theme" color menu? Thanks in advance. Windows 10 Pro (16299.rs3_release.17
I'm going to be really disappointed if they want to charge again for the same software just because I installed a new OS.
Are you using the kind of dreams that require external codecs? I did a fresh install as well, and run into this problem quite a bit.
Mine repeatedly launch in an ActiveMovie Window seperate from the desktop. Occassionally it will work as it should, but task view switching "pauses" it indefinitely.
Yes, GOD that is obnoxious. Please fix this.
The thing is, I had the freezing, background locking up problem before I had to get the codecs (the dream that wasn't MPEG-2 based or whatever.) It happens everytime I play a fullscreen game.
Yeah, Deskscapes does not work correctly with Windows 10.
I don't think they should list Deskscapes as being compatible with Windows 10 just yet, people are popping up left and right with problems.
https://forums.stardock.com/469458/page/1/#3576998 Same problem, constantly. Annoying, but it comes with being an early adopter I guess. Hope they fix it soon.
That codec pack made no difference in my problems. :/ It freezes still after a game, and does the little window mode thing too. What was the task view thing you mentioned? I can't find it in any settings.
What is a good video codec? Also, I'll have to look into this Task View thing. Thanks for the heads up, I'll return.
I've come back to report that DeskScapes is actually really buggy with Windows 10. :( The picture is constantly crashing/freezing, especially after using a full screen program. It then does not let me change the background at all, until I restart the program multiple times. Sometimes it opens up the background in a media player (???????) when I click "set as my background."
DeskScapes should work on Windows 10. I'll have a list of what's compatible coming up soon.
Awesome, can't wait to hear. Also, yes I can confirm what you said. Deskscapes worked beautifully on Windows 10 Professional 64-bit. Because of Microsoft's crap, I had to find a separate MPEG-2 encoder, but that took all of 30 seconds. Can't wait for the blinds s
Hi, before I spend money renewing DeskScapes and WindowsBlinds, I wanted to make sure they will be compatible with Windows 10. I know the retail release of RTM (to non-insiders) hasn't happened yet, but its only a few days away. I love these programs, just don't want to spend money if support is going to be lost.
