How can I set my Start11 settings to apply to all users? (Windows 11)
I am looking for an easy way to switch users. How do I add "Switch Users" to the start menu? An obvious task and it's gotta be easier than restarting my computer. I have Start 11 running on Windows 11.

That is not quite correct. Yes, you can move them around but they quickly reposition themselves in the grid pattern. I can't place them the way I want, with some over here and some over there.
That answer does not quite make sense to me. The desktop is controlled by Windows also, but Fences gives a way to move organize and group icons.
No go. It says "Files in a Folder Portal cannot be manually repositioned." I can change to certain orders but not reorganize them as I want. As I originally asked: is there way to (manually) organize icons in a folder window?
You want a screenshot? Not much to show you. It's a folder. I want to organize the icons.
Hmmm I've been using Fences 3. Is Folder Portals an addition to Fences 4 ?
I need a way to organize icons inside of folder windows. Fences works well on my Win10 desktop. I need something similar inside of folder windows. Do you make anything like this? You need better descriptions of your software. You have many choices of excellent apps, but give little info on your website.
I am using Fences. Very useful, but sometimes it does not work correctly. The icons do not stay in their Fence when I drag the Fence, and I need to restart to correct the problem. What to do??
I have an icon in Object Dock that opens a folder of shortcuts. Is it possible to convert that to a drop down menu instead?
Nope, that's not it. I am not talking about sort order. I need them to be not auto arranged, so I can place them where I want. Like I have 16 icons and I want them in 5 groups (columns). I can only do what I need by making 5 separate fences.
Is there any way to turn off Auto Arrange in Fences? Sometimes it is good, but sometimes it make my organization difficult. Joel
