Thanks for making a Version 2, Be fantastic if there was a video that showed the changes made and how they looked before and after and what you can do with V2 on Win 10 and 11. One little thing I did notice and I’m not sure if it’s a Windows 11 or lStart 11 or combination. On occasion I will click on lthe start menu and then type in the word "sound". I have a choice above of an application and then I have a few choices below that have to do with various sound options Sometimes I notice if I click on those options that are not the application, but are listed below the application, then, after clicking instead of lau

Basj, Thank you. On that page for myaccout/products I do not see my Start11 even though I did purchase and activate it. I see my old Start8 and Start 10. Not sure why it did not show up there. My version is 1.46 and it says licensed in the About screen of Start 11. Bought on 7/15/23. No rush Order # STARDOCK230715-5860-53201

I will keep adding to this over time: Also noticed if you ran a program shortcut to a bat file (in another directory, with Pause a tend) lets say from desktop that invoked CMD and ran various commands without "Exit" at the end that you cannot right click a nd close this from taskbar either. BUT if the .bat file was not a shortcut and had all the commands in it (on desktop -pause at end) , it would close with a right click. The

thank you I knew about renaming and I have done that. I did put another question out there with respect to if you right click on the taskbar to close task manager that was start 11 running it will not close. It’s a minor thing though. I did post a ticket on that. Thanks again.

Open Task Manager.Right click on Taskbar and select Task Manager. Then right click to Close on Task Manager in Taskbar and select close...Did not close for me. Must X out of the actual Task Manager window. Only occurs while Start11 is running as I tried this with and without. I believe I ran into a few more Windows/programs that also have this issue. I tried the other style Windows as you suggested (thank you) and it was nice BUT it showed "recently added programs" which I could not get rid of no matter where I clicked it off. Tried everything I could think of. Also the pinned area is not dynamic and quite large even though I have about 6 items. Thank you for any knowledge and wisdom you possess. I want to be able to click on Start in Windows 11 and have a few programs, perhaps folder shortcuts, I desire to be at the top without renaming them? Now if I pin to Start then I have to hit the back button after I click Start11 button. I know wah wah.. Sure I could just hit the back button if no other solution. Not such a big deal obviously. Update, I think things look better now after a few restarts BUT I now need to click on "All Apps" selection when Start Menu opens. Is there a way to have all the apps automatically show/populate without clicking on anything? ****This post can be deleted, I found the section in Start11 that gave me more options. So issue solved.. Not sure if Start8 but in Windows 8.1 when I go to Metro screen I see all apps by Category If I click on the up arrows at bottom of screen it shows me what I want BUT when I go back into Metro it again shows all apps. Tried all I know Any help appreciated Thanks Peter
I can live with it. I use Start8 to bypass metro screen I also have settings under Advanced to not display boxes around icons, yet I still get a box around a desktop icon when my mouse hovers over it. Tried all I know under Advanced and all options off and on and Adjust for best performance, custom, etc... Tried all I know how. Thanks in advance Peter
