Text very dark in Taskbar tray and context menus

Use Start10 and Windows 20

from Stardock Forums

First IPS monitor. 

Notice text of open apps like browsers is extremely dark in bottom tray in win 10. Same in context menus. 

 

 

Should I adjust monitor or settings in Win 10 and if so which?

 

Cttune made no difference. 

 

 

This is an LG 27gl83a-b IPS monitor.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your issue.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe to get full Windows version numbers.
  2. Start10 version number.
  3. Screenshots on your issue will help us understand your issue much better.
  4. Does the issue goes away if you disable Start10 from your computer? You can disable Start10 by selecting Windows 10 Style.

Thank you. No difference if I pick Windows Style button. Windows 10 ver 2004 19041.1052

 

In playing with CTTUNE I can get it a bit lighter below else it will be choppy. Perhaps it is contrast or other setting in new monitor.

I am sorry, but from your screenshot I don't see any issue on it. I don't think its anything to do with Start10.
