Yes, the system had updates (Windows 10) but no other software/updates were downloaded at that time. As I noted, the reinstall of Start10 was basically effortless with no problem, which I was thankful for. I expected problems with loading and authentication but Stardock took care of the small stuff for me. Thanks again for the ease of the reinstall.

Just a note fyi. My Start10 menu completely disappeared even though I had not added/deleted any new software. I was able to retrieve it through Stardock, but the reason the menu disappeared is a mystery.
