Nope. I'm familiar with the Quick Hide feature, and it's not the issue. When I close an application (Chrome, Quicken, etc.), I am left with the Windows 10 "virtual desktop" not Fences and the Windows desktop of old ...
Since updating my laptop to Windows 10, I've run into a problem whereby Fences disappear (the Windows 10 "virtual desktop" is running) and I can't get them back until I restart my PC. I didn't have this issue with Windows 8.1 and Fences. My laptop (a Lenovo Ultrabook is running Windows 10, Start10 and Fences (current version). While not a rookie with my PC, I definitely not a super-power user - just frustrated in trying to get back to a smoother operating system.</
Yes, I do; sorry, I didn't specify in my earlier post. I can fleetingly see the Desktop when the screen switches to Windows 10 Start screen but I stymied at getting easy access the desktop a la Windows 8.1, Start8 and Fences.
In the same boat and hoping for a speedy resolution.
rebelhorndawg - i'm unable to locate the IconCache.db (hidden) file in the user folder you have designated; other suggestions? thanks.
Ditto here, too. :(
