I use SAB with no issues but scoured through the Windhawk features and could not find a module for moving task bar to either side.

Uninstalling StartAllBack did indeed resolve the issue with context menu. I tried it for a week to see if other minor bugs were resolved due to StartAllBack. I can say two issues were resolved one, was the context menu shortcut and two, was Fences restore after GPU driver update from snapshots. Both Stardock apps, however, having the task bar left is way more important to me. I'd say a good portion of the customization's are centered around the task bar left ability. It would make sense to fi
As expected "Fences Configuration" works in sandbox desktop context menu when StartAllBack 3.7.9 is not installed but not when it is installed, so Yes StartAllBack appears to be the issue. Given that Fences also has an issue with restoring snapshots after a GPU driver update plus this context menu shortcut issue it may be time to look for an alternative to Fences 4 or 5. I already had to dump (after paying for it) Start11 because it won't move task bar to right or left of scre
"Feedback Hub" is working for me. WinVer 22H2 (22621.3593)
@basj StartAllBack 3.6.16 recently updated to 3.7.9 is what I use for task bar left. Wish it still worked in Stardock Start11 Uninstalling it is not an option as a matter of preference. However if it also affects the Fences issue I'm having I may have to reconsider.
I always reboot after any install. I did not run the purge file after restart of uninstall Nothing I can see I did different from you video. Purge Steps Log Note: This was done on my Gamer Rig with a clean install of Windows 11 pro on 04/02/24 and fully updated in everyway. Furthermore I get the same results on my daily rig which has not been formatted and reloaded in more than a year. Both are AMD
It is repeatable on my end. I uninstalled 4.22 then installed 5.0.4 from Stardock (My Keys) same issue. <a href="https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6s910qu4xmdt53gsywqrj/clean-install-fences-5-keys-removed.
Thanks. I look forward to the reply.
Thank You for the reply and suggestions. I see the setting in 4.22 as well and have changed it now, but it will have to wait until my next driver update to test and see if it works. Default has always work well in the past. As title suggest the context menu link/shortcut to Fences does not open the app. When right clicking an open space on the desktop the Fences shortcut no longer appears in the list now if you expand "View" Fences shortcut is listed there but will not open fences when clicked on. Not sure when this changed from being listed in the main/initial context menu without having to expand "View" but when it was in the main menu it worked to open fences now it doesn't. I se
Just as the title suggest. Layout of fences will not restore after GPU driver updates. This has persisted over the last two releases 4.2 & 4.1.06 before that it was intermittent sometimes it would and sometimes not. x570 | 3900x | 6900XT | 32GB 3600 | Win 11 pro ver. 22H2 | 3 monitor set up (2-2k 1-4k) I have tried taking an extra snapshot before display driver update otherwise Fences takes a daily snapshot automatically. Sad been using Stardock Start for 12 years paid for every new platform change (7-8-10) including 11. I, like many others here have to go left nothing else makes sense to me unless I still had a 4:3 aspect monitor. I tried explorer patch, sadly needed aside, it worked but I lost functionality of Start 11 for Taskbar. Warning said, another app was in control. I will miss: 1) some of the functionality, for example finer control of task bar with
Okay Thanks anyway but I figured it out. I deleted everything but the registry key. Once I found it I deleted it. After reinstall I was able to start again from square one. For those who may have the same issue: the key to delete is "Fences" Located here> "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Fences" The reinstall routine will reestablish the key so no worries. If you are worried, backup/export the Fences key to a location of your choosing before dele
Recently noticed some missing files folder and .exe's on my desktop. The onl;y way I was able to find them was going to the Desktop folder through Windows Explorer. Why they are hidden by Fences I haven't a clue. I fiddled with attributes and uninstalled then reinstalled but the same fences with the same issues pop back up after reinstalling. So I uninstalled deleted all Fences folders I could find in Program Files and App Data and reinstalled again but once again my old CORRUPTED fences appe
Thank You ultranox1337 for sharing that. I just want to confirm you have it working on a Windows 10 x64 machine? It's a shame the program isn't natively compatible with windows 10. Back when Vista was available there
Thanks for the reply. I wonder if it will ever become compatible?
Just as the title ask I want to know if Stardock's SoundPackager is compatible with Windows 10? However system requirements for SoundPackager indicate Windows 7/Vista making me a bit leery about making the purchase. I suppose I could try the trial but would prefer not to waste time. If someone whose used it on Win10 and could chime in to confirm I'd appreciate it. TY
