I updated Start 11 to the beta, and now I just get a black screen when Win 11 starts up. It appears that File Explorer either won't start or it is somehow now corrupted. I can get to Task Manager via the ctr-alt-del combination, but other access such as the Windows key just don't respond to anything. If I try to restart Explorer I just get the same black screen. I've run DISM and SFC with no issues found. I've uninstalled Start 11 (and Object Desktop by going into task manager a

Hi... I'm posting in Object Desktop as I can't find a category specific to Tiles. I'm using Tiles 2 as part of Object Desktop on Win11. I have the Tiles bar set to be on the left of the screen so that the application windows (e.g. Outlook, Settings, Edge) then maximize their window to the right of the Tiles bar. That all works fine, until the computer either goes to sleep or if I plug in a second monitor. In that case, Tiles doesn't 'reserve' the screen area on the
Hi Neil, Closing and restarting FF did not resolve the problem, nor did uninstalling and reinstalling Window Blinds resolve the problem. However, I unloaded Window Blinds from the system tray, then restarted the computer. On restart, Window Blinds was re-loaded and now I'm not seeing the issue. After the system restart is all seems to be looking OK, however, I haven't tried switching themes yet either. Thanks, -Norm
I have a new build of Win 8.1 and FF and Object Desktop with Windows Blinds 8.1. Applying a skin causes the tabs in FF to become unreadable... to be more accurate, the background behind the title bar and inactive tabs is so transparent that it is difficult to read any dark lettering on the tabs. I know that WB 8.1 was supposed to resolve FF issues, but is this an issue that was supposed to be resolved or is it a new issue? Bouncing between different stock WB
I'm having the same problem on a Win 8.1 system. If my explorer window is maximized everything is fine. But if I window explorer, the the pane where all the files are listed is black and very blurry... I can tell that it has transparency on it. joshuabaue, you mentioned that you set the active window transparency value... where and how do you set that? I'm in Window Blinds and can't find anywhere to set that.
I'm having a similar problem... my symptoms are, with time, my system responsiveness to window changes starts to crawl. When I try to change window focus my various desktop windows start to flicker, darken, brighten, etc. Clicking on an application in the taskbar to switch foreground focus seems to be very sluggish, if it happens at all. I haven't noticed a specific pattern as to when this happens, but it always seems like it takes the computer being active for som
