Good question. Fences is effectively broken now. The performance is terrible. I have to click on a shortcut and press Enter several times just to get something to open. Double clicking no longer works.

Suggestion: Steam should be an option in type-based rules in Fences Stardock Forums

Been waiting years for this to be implemented, and now with Fences on Steam it makes more sense than ever. Steam shortcuts should be an option. I know we can set .url to be auto added, but why can't Fences look for "steam://rungameid/*" in the shortcut and add it to a Steam fence? Perhaps in the future Fences could even integrate with categories on Steam and auto-sort into Fences based on those.
