Launch 8 and Start 8 in Launch Stardock Forums

I am interested in Launch 8, but am wondering if it works w/the Start 8 Vista desktop? I really hate the Windows 8.1 start menu/page whatever. Do I have to use the Windows 8.1 start menu?

how do I get my start8 icon when it disappears sometimes in Start8 Stardock Forums

Every so often the start8 icon disappears. It seems it happened before & I did something & it came back. Today it's gone again. What causes it & how do I fix it. Thanks! [e digicons]:\[/e]
