I just had a level 3 fortress conquered by a dark mage army... I took it back from him a couple of turns later and he was supplemented by city militia and archers... it would be cool if he had made some changes and reinforced with other dark spell casters or something new and different. Next time this happens I think I'll wait and see what he does over time.
Personally, I wish there was a choice to move into conquered tile or not. I generally like the idea of moving to clear lairs and caves and stuff, but don't like to have to reform my army after conquering a city.
Aside from the obvious requirement of researching Alliances, what causes or prevents "Alliance" from showing up as a diplomatic option?
I run Core i5 Laptop by HP, with HD 3000 integrated graphics. No problems whatsoever. I can even alt-tab and multitask with other stuff. (Obviously my work productivity has taken a hit of late). You will need to turn off some of the high level graphics enhancements, but frankly the game still looks quite good!
I love LH and all the improvements... but I really miss the encumbrance system from FE. It would be great if it could be turned on or off as an option.
