Ran into this issue today. Every time I try to invade a planet, I get an incomplete invasion screen and the game locks up. I didn't have this problem Tuesday, it's only been an issue after the recent update.

[quote who="Kobrano" reply="58" id="3413373"] What I hate about steam is simple.. If my kids want to enjoy a steam game, I need to purchase additional copies for them. Given the price of most games, I will not do this, and it short changes the household. I don't know anyone with families that will purchase multiple copies of most games, so the developer simply loses out on revenue in EITHER case, so why not be family friendly in the first place? More importantly, since every game of chess uses the exact same pieces in the exact same starting positions, the number of strategies you can execute is limited. In GalCiv, the number of ship designs is limitless. It's just not feasible to make an AI that could match a human player.
Having governors for planetary improvements would be nice.
For people saying that having tactical combat and an auto mode, no that doesn't work. Since players are smarter than AI they will always be more efficient thus rendering auto-mode unusable. And if this game has the same scale that GC2 does war will get very tedious very quickly.
