Reply to Windows Defender causing boot to Metro UI in Start8 Stardock Forums

I have 1.15.0 - just downloaded a couple days ago form the Start8 website. Like I said, it's worked fine, but I did always see the Metro UI for a split second, and then it switched quickly over to the desktop. The bigger issue, though, is that it's now starting correctly into the desktop, and then kicking over to the Metro UI for some reason. I think Windows Defender is the culprit, but not sure. Hello, I have a new laptop with a fresh install of Windows 8. First thing I did was install Start8, and it worked great - I set it to boot right to the Desktop, which it did without issue (although the Metro UI did flicker for a split second before going to the Desktop). All the meanwhile, I was using a 3rd party anti-virus. I decided to remove that program, and just use the built-in Windows Defender. Once I did this, however, Windows now boots to the desktop
