Thanks, have disabled auto-update now. Do I need the extra bits that may be added - no, they add no value to my experience. This is same product but now put a 10 on the end and charging again, very M$ of the company. Assume as Win8.1 is still valid then we`ll be getting updates that will continue to work even on Win10 as the current one does.

Yes sort of as the title says, Start8 working fine on my updated OS so don`t feel the need to pay an extra $3.99 for nothing but it keeps popping up that an update is available only to then tell me when trying to run it that my OS isn`t supported. I am running Start8 1.55 already but on Windows10 so I just want the update available messages to go away. Can`t see an option to turn it off and really don`t see the need to pay twice for something which is already work
