I paid for a lifetime licence for Start 11. Which like Start 8 and Start 10 which I purchased were supported for the duration of those Windows versions. Where is the continued development and support for this product? You have breached our contract, and that cannot be allowed to stand. And the assertion that V2 is demonstrably different is an outright lie. It is the same product with some additional functionality, but it is not significantly different in any meaningfu

Is this how you operate now? I can't buy a product and know that it will be updated and maintained, but it will also be replaced with a different version of itself that you expect me to buy? WTF?
You cannot easily revert to a release version of Windows 11. I opted out of the program at the start of the year, but getting out of the system is not so easy. Also at no point was there any notification prior to my purchase that this would be an issue. It was literally not stated anywhere, I looked. Additionally the functionality (transparent Taskbar) LITERALLY WORKS PERFECTLY IN EVERY OTHER APP PROVIDNG THIS FUNCTIONALITY regardless of my Windows 11 version number, and lets be clear
So now centre alignment no longer works and neither does transparent taskbar. Considering the transparent taskbar is one of the core reasons I purchased this damn product, maybe you could keep it active? Yes, I am on the Windows Insider program. No, you NEVER disclosed at any point prior to me purchasing that this would be an issue, and NO your claims of not supporting the version is not acceptable, because I am on the pre-release ONLY tier meaning my updates are release candidate,
Thanks for the update. I am glad the transparent Taskbar is back, but there is a slight issue with it. Prior to this the taskbar was completely invisible apart from the icons. Now there is a line at the top of the taskbar indicating the top of it. Its very thin, but would it be possible to go back to how it was before with that line removed as well? As the topic says. I just updated Windows and now my taskbar is no longer transparent, and cannot be forced transparent. I can also no longer change the color of the taskbar in Start 11 and am forced to used the Windows 11 Personalisation settings instead. It seems Start 11 no longer has any control over this aspect of the taskbar. <span style="white-space: pre
Just wanted to jump in and say awesome work to all the devs working on Start11! 1.1 is brilliant and improves the experience in leaps and bounds, especially for people like me using the Windows 10 Start Menu. Almost all of the functionality is there, and its been a smooth, flawless experience since I started using it. Great work. I do have one feature request though. When selecting a New Icon, could it be please be possible for Start11 to allow a different icon/tile for each o
I am confused by your question. You buy Start 11 and that's it. You own a licence in perpetuity. Why on earth would you expect to have to repurchase a licence for the same product in the future?
Would it be possible to add the segmented task bat feature offered in StartAllBack? This is a feature that is almost enough on its own to persuade me to swap to them over Start 11.
Considering the main draw of the Windows 10 mode are the Tiles, why are they not enabled by default? I need to edit the registry in order to enable them which is a step that no user will know about unless informed by you. I expect most users dont even know Tiles can work.
I have located one of the triggers for the issue. Clicking on any Pinned App on the Start Menu, or shortcut located on the All Apps list causes the Start Button to stop working. However clicking on Shortcut List on the far right does not affect the Start Button functionality.

New Update has not resolved the issues. As far as I can see it has made no difference at all.
I have also noticed that when the Start Menu does not open the Start Button shows being pressed, but does not depress. Clicking it again sometimes resolves this and completes the "press button" animation and then the Start Menu will open. Using the Windows Key does seem to work correctly. Which is to say it has not failed to open the Start Menu yet. Hope this helps.
Registry had not helped sadly. Although now the Windows Apps are showing the small icons I had previously when I repinned them after adding the Reg entry. The scrolling is slower, I would say sluggish. Not hugely, but definitely noticeable. The odd behaviour is that sometimes the Start Button works fine and seems pretty responsive. When this happens I can click on it rapidly and it works as expected. Then later for no reason it just doesn't work and multiple cli
Uninstalling/Reinstalling has not helped responsiveness, performance, and reliability are all awful. Again, I will add that I had none of these issues prior to the update. Am I able to roll back?
I have not changed any Registry Entries, and did not know there was an experimental option to do so. I had previously used Pin More, TileIconify, and Better Start Menu to change and modify tiles, but all were uninstalled when I upgraded to Windows 11. Here is what my menu looks like. The "Tiles" are all Windows Apps or games installed from Game Pass which operate like Windows Apps, <span style="color: #ffffff; font-family: 'Proxima Nova
Correction. The Windows 11 version is also affected
The other menus dont seem to be affected, but I do have a lot more icons on the Windows 10 version. As for CPU usage I can see that Windows Explorer does spike when opening the Start Menu. From around 2% to sometimes over 15% Other than that there are no significant CPU drains. In General CPU usage is around 5% in total. (i7 9700K @5Ghz). Prior to the update everything worked perfectly. I can see that Windows Apps icons are now large and look li
Just updated and now the Start Menu doesn't function. When it does its slow and unresponsive. Clicking the Start button either doesnt work or required multiple clicks to respond. And when it does respond the animation is slow and jerky and clicks are also slow. How do I roll back? This is completely unusable. Thanks.
The ability to have direct control over the size of icons would be appreciated. Beyond that the option to change the icon would be hugely helpful as well.
Hey all. The only feature I miss from Windows 10 are my custom tiles I used for my most frequent games and programs. The tile feature in Start 11 allows me to pin, organize, and resize like Windows 10 did, but I am unable to change/replace the default tiles as they are just the default icons and cannot be altered. Is there any way to change these icons/tiles and if so how. If not, is there any chance that Stardock would add this functionality at some p
Thanks! That fixed it! Strange. I did uninstall/reinstall twice before. All seems to be working correctly now. Thanks again!!
