After uninstalling the latest beta release of start11 through revo uninstaller I had issues with the windows 11 start menu not working properly. It would not open properly or allow me to select any icons before auto closing. This was in conjunction with several added start menu icons that I did not add. I followed through most of the steps on this link. How to Fix 'Windows 11 Start Menu Not Wo

About to go back to the non BETA version. Whenever I click on the windows key which I have set to open the Windows 11 menu it refuses to let me click on the icons and auto closes after a few seconds. This Beta is more problematic.

I also tried switching my monitors between primary to secondary. Changing wallpaper from stretch to fill. Switching the taskbar from top to bottom and vise versa. But the only way to resolve in putting the taskbar back to the bottom of the screen.

No problems whatsoever except I would still like the option to add a fully functioning recycle bin on the taskbar as well as hide the corner icons. I attached a screenshot of a freeware program called MiniBin which adds this feature to the corner icons so I know this is workable under Windows 11. Minibin uses very little system recourses and has zero affect on system performance other then an added convenience. Minibin also allows the flexibility to change your recycle bin icon to anything yo

This is an interesting bug. If I try to add certain items from the all programs list to the left hand side shortcuts it shows up as a tile and if I hover my mouse over it all my quick access side shortcuts disappear. This happens most notably with my Thunderbolt control center. Then after opening and closing the Start menu that tile just removes itself on it's own. In the past I have never had any issues adding programs to the left hand side shortcuts. My Start menu is set up as modern style.

If possible having the ability to add apps to the taskbar would be awesome. Some apps allow it but several do not. Especially having the ability to add the recycle bin to the task menu. Actual tools monitor program allows the option to add the recycle bin to the taskbar so I know it is possible to add that feature. I have the program but do not use it anymore because I only have 2 monitors but when I had 4 monitors with Windows 10 it was a necessity. Here is the link to that program so you kn

A lot of the problems people are having with slow response and icons in the Start 11 menu not working properly I have not experienced. For the record my system is an Alienware X17 laptop with a dedicated RTX 3080 GPU and a 4K panel at 120 Hz. My lack of issues might have something to do with doing a clean install of the Windows 11 release candidate prior to installing the final release. Prior to that when I first installed Windows 11 it was from a Windows 10 upgrade and I did see a lot of fau

Huge Windows update last night to include several dozen of my apps. And I don't know if anyone noticed, and I don't know if this was added by Microsoft to Windows 11 or by installing Start 11 but when you right click on the taskbar you have the same options that were available with Windows 10. Most noticeably the addition of Task manager which is in my mind was one of the most important features that went missing when I first installed Windows 11. I can now remove my Task manager links in the

This is an annoying bug but when the start menu icon is in the middle of the screen or on the left side with the windows icon half the time when you open it, it displays the Windows 11 menu instead of Start 11. This doesn't seem to happen with the Start 11 icon. If you could change it where the menu is in the middle with the Start 11 icon that might fix the issue. This is with the RC1 0.90

I updated to Win 11 pro from the Final beta release and had no issues. I will say that my beta release was a clean install on 2 Samsung 980 pro's in RAID 0 on my Alienware X17 laptop. Prior to that I had an earlier Windows 11 release that was an upgrade install over Win 10 pro and on that build after installing Start 11 it didn't replace windows 11 start menu but showed as a second icon in the taskbar. When I installed start 11 on the clean install of the Win 11 beta the Win 11 start menu was

OK. I resolved the issue and I can't believe I didn't try this already but I removed all the custom place locations and readded them. Then it worked. It's possible that when my One drive synced for the first time yesterday for the 1st time it created the issue. Previously I had One drive sync turned off. One other bug unrelated but every time I open up settings in Start 11 it adds it to the menu items automatically. And one last thing. It would be nice if Start 11 allowed you to customize the
