HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Fences\Settings, was not correct. Using regedit seemed to have resolved the issue - Thanks

I am not sure I follow your response. I am not aware of a "primary" setting, but I do have one monitor that is set to boot up on as my desktop.

I have a dual monitor set-up. I have Fences running on my desktp and only displaying on a single monitor. Somehow I made a change whcih now forces any new icons or files saved to the desktop to appear on the alternate monitor. Thre is space on th eprimary desktop to accomodate the files. In short, it appears I have extended my desktop view to two monitors. My desired configuration is that only programs I drag to the second monitor
