Having posted my original request ten days ago, I wasted no time in Disabling the Update utility. Since then, I have not been bothered by repeat requests. I figure that the problem will be corrected in a future update and will re-enable the update utility in a few months. I appreciate the advice and at least knowing I am not alone in this predicament.

I am using Fences 3.0.9.11 About three times a day a message pops up advising that I need to update Fences. If I go to the ABOUT feature on the Fences program, and check for updates, it states that I am current. So, if I am current, how do I tell Fences to quit pestering me to download something I don't need
