Is it possible to assign the IP-Adress that has to be used by multiplicity on the secondary ? I have the problem that it assigns the wrong one (using hamachi from time to time).
Yeah ! That one works !
Okay. Done the following : - Uninstalled MP on Server 2003 - reboot - Deleted still present service from the registry - reboot - installed MP 1.05 from the standaloe file - reboot When I try to switch to the server, cursor is lost. Changing the order and switching to a secondary notebook works.
Well 2003 Server vs. XP, that is all.
Did that, will do it again.
No Luck on my side. I reinstalled on the primary (2 reboots) and now I have no connection.
No luck wit scroll lock. It's funny, now that it doesn't work I notice how it became essential for my everyday work. I hope for a quick fix. OS : Primary : Win XP Pro SP2, Secondary 2k3 Server SP1 and Notebook with XP Pro SP 2 all of them with 1,5 GB RAM and german of course. Running SD apps : OD+, IconX, CursorXP, RightClick. Other apps : Ranlendar, Sysmetrix, G-Data Antivirus 2006, Active Sync 4.1.
Trying to change to any secondary machine leaves my primary unusable (cursor diappears) . Bang... Cursor XP ?
I hope we don't have to wait another 4 months to have these fixed : 1. RC prevents system from logging off. Logoff is only possible when quitting RC first. 2. RC is marked as non responding by windows at shutdown, which leads to a messesage that it could not be ended properly at shutdown and that leads to 3. Still loosing menus occasionally, especially after 2. System : XP Pro SP2 German with latest updates.
There should be a warning for apps like ObjectDock or RightClick to NOT quitting them before an update. Settings will be gone. I NEVER end Stardock apps before an update.
Well, I think we resolved the confusion now.
I resolved mine, nevertheless there seems to be a problem with the build on sdc. So it would be good someone at Stardock would look into it.
Yes. And I didn't write "MCP" but "MPC" And why should I post in the Multiplicity forum if I wanted to speak about another program ?
Anybody home ?
Header says it all. Connection only works when taking the download - file and setting mpc up. I guess there is someting missing in the sdc setup.
Quit RC and restarting it does the trick. I also have the Problem that RC is noticed as an non responding app at windows shutdown and windows alsways wants to end it (maybe part of the saving failures). Anyone else with that ?
Ouch...
That is strange. My installed 1.20.007 shows 739 in RC itself (???)
Hmm, another update ? I have739...
Where did the plugins (drive meters and the like) go ? RC crashes when I try to configere them by hand...
I don't want no systray.
Okay, 1st most obvious thing : Cursor 'Busy' when using the menu all the time. Other than that I seem to have no menu losses anymore, but I will watch that closely. Jeff, if I remember right with the menu-builder in old pre 1.0 builds it was possible to make a new entry right before the marked one. Since several builds a new entry always goes to the very end of the menu, which is quite unpractical. is there a chance to get that 'insert' feat
IntelliPoint issues are gone! Therefore Logitech scrollbuttons only work on the primary now, even when switched to the secondary
Same here.
