RightClick 1.20.007

I hope we don't have to wait another 4 months to have these fixed :

1. RC prevents system from logging off. Logoff is only possible when quitting RC first.
2. RC is marked as non responding by windows at shutdown, which leads to a messesage that it could not be ended properly at shutdown and that leads to
3. Still loosing menus occasionally, especially after 2.

System : XP Pro SP2 German with latest updates.

"1. RC prevents system from logging off. Logoff is only possible when quitting RC first."

The only time I have had this happen is if I use the skins that come with " Right Click " If Im using the Menu of the current WB its ok, but if I change to a different menu ( which i do frequently cos I skin my own ) I have found that unloading right click right after changing and then reloading it will prevent this non-responding at shut down.

Its always done this as long as Ive have the program but its not much of an inconvenience if you reload the program before reboot. I agree it is a bit irritating if you reboot and walk away from puter and come back to find its still sitting there waiting for you to end task program.

i've always just used the skin of the current WB with RC, and so far i've had no problems whatsoever...i have never seen any of the problems you have mentioned with this latest build

System: XP Home SP2, all updates

've seen this on previous builds somtimes and it's usually associated with a dialog from RC which has popped up asking if you want to save changes.

If it pops up behind another app it's often not noticed. Trouble is you need to find it before the 'shutting down' dialog countdown finishes! Once you save the changes it's all good again.

Haven't seen this at all with the latest build however...

I've always let WB skin RC and have not had problem #1.

In the past, I had problems 2/3, but not with this build. However, after I make changes in RC, I have gotten in the habit of unloading & restarting the program to make sure the config is saved. I might not notice if 2/3 happened because of the work-around.

The only issue I have seen is that I can never get RC to retain the separator I put between the Taskbar & systray. It doesn't like it there...

Correction-- it's there, but its behavior is strange. Some open programs are above the separator % some below it (below=with the systray items). Can't figure out what determines above vs below...

I have given up on RC for now. Which I amk sad about. But I am sick of having to restore from a backup every damn day.

i'm sorry to hear that Carl...this build has been working without any problems for me (yet)....i'm sure you have already tried it, but maybe a complete uninstall, get rid of the entire rightclick directory, and start again with a completey clean config....i know it's a total hassle, but if it works, then you should be fine from then on

aimzzz, i had that same problem with an old build (Link)...i haven't tried again, but obviously they still haven't fixed it...

also, one other thing...you used to be able to resize the width of RC by just dragging the side...that doesn't work anymore
