Considering a purchase: Question about updates in Stardock Software Stardock Forums

I am considering the purchase of either: 1) A couple of specific applications. 2) Object Desktop I'm having some issues finding an answer regarding updates. I know that updates are included for one year with an Object Desktop subscription but are any updates included with the purchase of individual applications? For example, if I purchase Fences is it purely the current version with no minor version updates? Am I purchasing the major version (i.e. updates until 3.0
