Thanks and Update Was not positive I did the Purge you mentioned so I went thru the Purge procedure and fresh download re-install again. New Symptoms: Now the Computer will not go to Sleep - Just goes to the Lock Screen. When Clicking on the lock screen (no password as I require and return to Start Menu but now with Circulating ring (wait) after a minute or two Clicked the Circling ring on the Start Menu and it still goes dim Grey and Resets the Back Ground, Icons and Task Bar

Make it the same as the Login Password. This can give us the ability to prevent more and more Software vendors from rebooting our machines (which they don't own) especially when we have something very important running and esp for days like a Duplicate Search on a LAN or a thorough Malware scan. Also Files and Databases that are Open get damaged by this unwanted automatic Reboot.

I have the same issue on Windows Home ver after the last update. Called Windows Update and they had me run DSIM ,,, RestoreHealth @ Admin then SFScannow - no change. It seams that Searching for Windows Update under the "Old Win7" links causes the permission problem for Settings and Advanced Settings Links.
