Hi Sean, after restoring the system back to version start11 v1.1 now back online: My version is Windows 11 Pro Build 22000.593 (no beta, insider...), latest regular release Rebooted? Sure Apart from the scary offset taskbar appearance: yes, I was aware of the taskbar center alignment issue before, though haven't found out where this mysterious "enhance the taskbar" option is. Maybe you can post some s
procurement
After installing v1.2: - start menu not responding at all - taskbar with offset from bottom of screen - another addional offset for startmenu button
Bunch of added German translations: "Hide caption"="Bezeichnung ausblenden" "Hide folders from recent documents list"="Ordner unter letzte Dokumente ausblenden" "Hide search box unless searching"="Suchfeld erst bei Suchvorgang einblenden" "Icon"="Symbol" "Load up custom static tile images (Experimental)"="Benutzerdefinierte statische Bilder für Kacheln laden (Experimentell)" "Lock menu shortcut positions"="Menü Verknüpfungspositionen sperren"<br
V1.1 fixed it, thank you
I am not sure if it is the right approach to solve a technical problem by asking why users are doing things the way users a doing things. Anyway I will tell you, so we can get back on track ;-) Using Windows 8 with your start menu in a professional context, i need to work with a bunch of files of the same file type - like office documents - every day. But then sometimes one wants to "clean up" the working space, but there are some files
After reboot it's still there, but after using e.g. Ccleaner (Delete recent files Option) it's blank. Pinned files shouldn't be affected by Ccleaner (They are not in the standard start menu of Windows 7). Step order: 1 Blank recent file list (rfl) for Excel 2 Open existing document 1 in Excel 3 Pin document 1 in the rfl 4 Open existing document 2 in Excel 5 Both documents are now in the rfl 6 Run Ccleaner
Start8 1.1 Beta Premise: The "recent files" list is empty for Office 2010 (Word, Excel), although pinned documents exist. After opening an application (e.g. Word or Excel) and opening a document, the recent file list is now visible including the pinned documents .
