One interesting idea - to help balance out the difference between character/heroes and units - would be to have two types of characters: Generals and Heroes. Heroes would have a limited number of train-enhancements and in focused areas, whereas Generals might have a different (higher?) limit with entirely different traits available. You would then impose a stack limit of no more than one of each type in a stack, meaning players would be forced to diversify armies with a b

I like the idea of this post, but can't agree with everything here. I've only had the beta a few days now, and my first few attempts did include some of the struggles you've listed. My last two games, however, have been fairly easy once building up a few experienced (possibly overpowered) champions to lead my forces. I've never even needed to move up to the third group size for my armies, since my champions are so powerful. Money has not been an i
Are there plans to implement ships and fleets in the game?
Initiative really adds to the strategic (and tactical) development of the game, I'm loving it. As characters level up you have to make some tough choices regarding how to strengthen their abilities. By carefully selecting traits, equipment and spells cast during battles you can end up with some heroes that are whirling dervishes of destruction (or a plodding, heavily armored tank that can withstand a lot of damage). Great stuff!
It would also be nice to have the option to jump to the location when a caravan is killed. Currently the message appears, but I have no idea where the attack took place (when my empire is large).
I currently have -46 mana, with -2 mana 'generated' every turn. This seems like a bug to me. Shouldn't all global enchantments, etc. be nullified once the mana balance reaches zero?
I had the same quest and results. Posted it in another thread before I saw this.
Upon completion of an early quest, in which I had to defeat a Fire Elemental to retrieve a fire staff, for a reward a fire elementalist character joined my party. The odd thing is, however, he apparently isn't a hero, as I can't upgrade or trade items with him and I can't imbue him with powers - but he has no other skills to speak of aside from taking up room in my party. When he first joined the notification said he had special casting abilities, but there do not appe
Little scruffy - cute!
Won't help - at least it hasn't for me after a week of waiting. Brick wall thus far.
scorpNZ, Any company that can't return a support-related email or ticket within 12 business hours doesn't deserve my business, period.
I'm posting here after submitting a ticket to customer support on January 8th with no response and sending an email to support several days ago with no response. After using Impulse to update my game, I now get a 'Product Activation' pop-up box on my screen when I attempt to open the program. I
Kris, Here's the confirmation email I received: Thank you for your order. Your order has been accepted and is being processed. Please print this page for your records. For questions regarding your order, please contact sales@stardoc
Thanks, I'll give it a try. Hopefully I won't be charged twice :)
I have checked my spam folder all morning - nothing there. This was a Debit card purchase, no PayPal. Thanks for the reply.
I purchased several games (Space Ranger 2: Compete, etc) this morning (Saturday) and still haven't received a download link, nor do the games show up on Impulse. The sales FAQ says 15 minutes is the usual time and it's been almost 6 hours. Does this mean I wait until Monday (or later) to get the game download?
