I prefer the vertical taskbar on the left as well. I doubt Stardock will get this feature into Start11, but I don't have any inside knowledge of their efforts on taskbar customization either. I just say that I doubt it since Microsoft went to such effort to screw up their taskbar in the first place, that I think rather than try to salvage or extend the stock taskbar, it's best to use a taskbar replacement. I use DisplayFusion's taskbars to create a vertical taskbar where the StartMenu

Attempting to launch a Groupy with any OneNote windows results in only one OneNote window being loaded and it is that of the most recently opened OneNote page. I've recently discovered how to launch multiple instances of OneNote, and have each instance get a particular page: Essentially you have to launch the ONENOTE.EXE from the command line or batch file, and subsequently launch the ONENOTE.EXE again with the /hyperlink switch specifying the Notebook\Section\Page. +1 for a toggle. I hate the rounded corners, it makes taking screenshots a little irritating to have some crap peeking through the background. On the plus side I now realize if I open something on Win11 in a groupy window the rounded corners are gone! Edit: I spoke too soon. It looks like Office Programs just don't have rounded corners yet.
It is now October 7th...the download link is to the same Start11_0.55-j26-Setup.exe that was there on October 1st. Was the file posted sooner than the announcement said it would be, or is there a newer file that has not yet been linked?

When I open a Word Document, I don't need to see the temporary (and hidden) lock file that Word generates. Same goes for the rest of MS Office. I prefer to keep my File Explorer options to see hidden files, but I would like to tweak the behavior on the <sp
I believe you are correct. I was trying to use ProcMon to track down how the Start10 menu was being presented as I couldn't use find a way to interact with the menu anyway similar to an application window. Some sort of pinvoke dark magic I suspect.
Is there a way (registry edits included) for me to ensure that when Start10 is invoked that it will not lose focus until I am done with it? On start up I have so much going on, but I don't want to wait several minutes after booting to be able to open Start10 without interruption from some other process opening.
I have a laptop with a docking station, a home environment with two external monitors and a work environment with two different external monitors. I also use Display Fusion. In all cases I have the devices setup from left to right, displays 1 to 3: laptop, monitor 1, monitor 2. The snapshots I had taken for the work environment appear to restore correctly only momentarily before swapping to incorrect monitors. Looking at the XML for the snapshot it appears the goal of the process for
