Once you use all your licenses (in my case five), is another user not able to use the trial?

So, I found out the hard way, although I have found it on your website. I believe your activation keys are only good per PC and not user. This is unfortunate since I have to use three computers during the day. Maybe this should be looked at. A choice between users and computers. Given this, when I went to set up another user to show how it works, I had to use the trial setup. Apparently, the trial doesn't work then as I set it up and nothing happened. Is that the case?
