Why can't I use the Coupon Code for renewal of this Software?

I am sending this as an FYI. It might be a solution to people having issues with Cut/Paste with Multiplicity. I did not realize it was a self inflicted Multiplicity issue. I have a license for Stardock software---registered to me. I am trying to install Groupy. When I click on the Enter Product Key button, nothing happens. If I click on Purchase Key or Start 30-day Trial--- a new window opens. I downloaded it from my Account and even tried with the free version. Any advice?
