I believe this is a Win 8 problem. Same problem occurs for people who don't use Start8. Google. I have 3 computers, 2 64-bit Win8, no problem. One 32-bit Win 8, problem. Quick cure. Unlock Taskbar, drag it to another position, and back again. Then lock it. I have to do this once a day. Regards Kai
