I agree, this and the mandated take-over of my desktop icons has caused me to stop using Fences. I've purchased most of StarDock's apps, but have stopped using everything but Start8. They're all great but have 1 or 2 small but incredibly annoying/frustrating features. Worse still is that each issue has been brought to their attention for quite some time, and they simply won't change/fix them. At this point, I'm unwilling to buy any more

So I just purchased Fences yesterday, and I'm really liking it, but there are a few things that I'd love to see implemented in a future version. 1- Option to leave the placement of desktop icons alone. Fences are great for organizing the desktop, but they shouldn't necessitate all-or-nothing usage. I often have 1 or 2 files that I want to separate from others on a temporary basis - files that I'll need for maybe a day or two but will be deleted after that.&
