Installed Beta 2 from the website overtop Beta 1. Two of my secondaries are not saving settings. As soon as I close the Multiplicity UI, the settings are reverted and it asks me to choose between Primary and Secondary again. And all settings are undone. Tried rebooting, removing using removal tool, and reinstalling Beta 2. No luck. Seems to be broken. Any ideas?

Are you working on adding requested features? Would like the ability to customize the hotkey and number of times pressed for the broadcast button. I've requested it on a thread here in the past.
Sorry about that. What version of Windows are you running xxxxx.xxxx? Are you using EP or SAB? Maybe an uninstall and reinstall using a new installer downloaded from your Account Downloads. As a last resort you could try the Purge and reinstall following the directions here. https://support.st

I think it's more of an issue with EverQuest when the game loses focus. There's some advantages to it working this way; but I've also been caught by inadvertently broadcasting with Discord when I don't mean to do so.

Thanks. The issue is I am using Multiplicity on six computers, as well as Start11 on all six. It's not sustainable to keep adding exceptions every time they want to update. Also, they download the update when detected and run it, so I'd need to decline all of those, then find the update online, download, and whitelist the exe file. I'm not being facetious when I say it's only Stardock. I think it's fair to ask them to look at how their installer places file on the filesystem and see i
Hi xerxes, While I do not have any experience with ESET myself, it sounds like it is being a bit aggressive in scanning the files as they are being laid down on the install process. I think Pelarid has the best suggestion for you above. Paul Scroggins Associate Technical Support Analyst
Thanks, but I was looking for Stardock to fix their installer. As I mentioned, no other application has th

This happens every time I upgrade or install new Stardock (only Stardock) software: It literally sits on each png and each for many seconds to minutes at a time. If I pause my ESET antivirus, then it completes immediately. This only happens with the Stardock installer. Any chance the installer can be upgraded or fixed / tested with ESET to figure out what it's doi

Are release notes not being posted on the site? I click the release notes link in the update popup box, but there's been no update published since the last few times I've clicked update. https://www.stardock.com/products/start11/history I have 1.4.3 installed. Clicking Check now on updates tells me it's up to date. Yet I just got ANOTHER prompt asking me to download and install an update. What gives?

There's a setting on Settings > Control switching based on mouse movement > When disabled via Scroll Lock toggle If you enable that checkbox, you can press Scroll Lock to stop the mouse from moving to another computer. Side note, would love all of these hard coded hotkeys for switching (Ctrl x 3, Scroll Lock, etc) to be user definable.

Hello, I use Soft Perfect's Networx app on Windows 10 ( https://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/ ) to enable a taskbar upload/download meter: It's worked fine for years. I recently started using Start11 on Windows 10 and for some reason, it hides all of the pinned apps and running apps in the taskbar.

Hello, I tried approaching this with the PCSX2 emulator community, however, they shut it down and said it's not their problem that the app is crashing when Multiplicity sends input to another computer. They are placing the blame on Multiplicity. Steps to reproduce: Install Multiplicity Configure it to connect to another computer Launch PCSX2 and start a ROM. Change input to other computer and send a mouse click PCSX2 insta

Hello, Long time user and supported of several Stardock products. I use Multiplicity daily. I have requested several enhancements / feature requests over the last year, but other than the occasional bug fix, it doesn't seem as if Multiplicity is under active development. Is there a posted product roadmap or planned feature set available somewhere? Maybe a release schedule for the year? Would like to understand if the product is going to continue to get enhancements to

I'd be extremely careful with this and not install Multiplicity on a corporate laptop. For most companies, this is an instant fireable offense, as it leads to data exfiltration off of the company laptop.

Check the display scaling of both displays to make sure they match. That's the only other thing I can think of. I have 6 displays next to each other and 5 share the same resolution and the mouse cursor moves over in the same spot on each one.

7 Replies 6,584 Views

iirc, the resolution has to be the same (or close) on all displays for the mouse cursor to maintain the same relative position.

I think what you are looking for is what I've asked for, and have not received any response. Except, you want to span a monitor vertically, while I want to do horizontally. https://forums.stardock.com/510782/page/1/#3873439

If you enable "Prevent computer switching via mouse movements: unless shift is held down" From a computer, swap to another, then swap back. It is not automatically releasing the held down shift button, causing typing to be all in caps. I believe once Multiplicity knows you are controlling another computer, it should automatically release the held down Shift button on a computer.

Checking in on this one. I recently set up a 49" display and really need to span the the larger one so that it stretches across the smaller monitors underneath it. As of now, I can only move the cursor up from the middle monitor that is directly underneath the 49".
