Basj: Thanks, l ike you, I thought uninstall and reinstall would have been the solution as noted in my original post; however, what I noticed after looking at your screenshot, is that I had been setting the shortcut to "run as admin" from the Shortcut Advanced Properties tab selection, like this:</span

Thank you. The only app it seems to be ignoring is FreeFileSynch https://freefilesync.org/
I have ObjectDock 3.01 installed and it seems to work fine EXCEPT I have a couple of shortcuts that won't run in the "Run as Administrator" mode while I have other shortcuts which DO run in admin mode. I just setup a new computer, fresh installs for all my apps. On my old Win11 setup (new one is also WIN11), the shortcuts for the app I'm having problems with DID run in admin mode in ObjectDock, now they do not. 1. Program is installed, nothing unusual/no warning dialog boxes 2
I was afraid that may be the case. (groan) I assume I need to back up more than "AppImages.ini" and "CurrentTheme_v2_Legacy_Backup.ini", correct? I had those backed up. Any idea what may have corrupted the settings? I'll, of course, do a backup but I want to avoid the problem again, if possible. Yesterday, before this happened, the only apps I used were Word, PowerPoint, and Chrome.
Yesterday, everything was working just fine. I had not changed anything on/in Objectdock in weeks (no new objects, etc). Today, booted up PC and the tabbed dock I had put together over time was gone, replaced with the original dock. In the ObjectDockPlus folder, I find "AppImages.ini" and "CurrentTheme_v2_Legacy_Backup.ini" are still present but everything el has today's date. I suspect I'm hosed and have to rebuild all my objects/icons but on the off chance there's a "fix" I'm not aw
Thanks, the GIF was really small on my end on my phone, switched to a computer and yup, I see what you did. I had only selected "Run as Administrator" from "Advanced" in Properties. I had not gone to the Compatibility tab, I thought checking that box under "Advanced" would have done the same thing. Apparently not... That worked, thanks!
I'm using Win11, 24H2 OS Build 26100.3915 As you tested it, did you follow the same procedure I outlined or something else?
Running ObjectDock 3.01 I have a desktop icon set to "Run as Administrator," and I drag it into a tab on a dock positioned above the Taskbar and the setting won't "stick." On the desktop, under Properties for the icon, I selected "Run as Administrator," applied that setting, and it "sticks." But if I drag and drop that icon into ObjectDock, the "Run as Administrator" setting is lost. I'm probably missing something easy but how do I get the "Run as Admin
Basj/Neil: That worked! Thanks so much! I deleted START11 2.5.0.0 first then did a fresh install of the beta 2.5.1.2

I have a Win 11 PC with Start11 v2.5 running. Checked for update and have latest version. I have 3 monitors running side-by-side. The main (center) monitor has the taskbar, the others don't. When I enable Star11 to enhance the taskbar and change the size to small - my setting before the most recent update - or medium, open windows on that monitor maximize to the space that would normally allow for the large taskbar. Am I missing a setting? Edit: I have another Win 11 PC with Sta
