Administrator Mode properties NOT carried over

Icon in ObjectDock not running as Administrator

Running ObjectDock 3.01

I have a desktop icon set to "Run as Administrator," and I drag it into a tab on a dock positioned above the Taskbar and the setting won't "stick."

On the desktop, under Properties for the icon, I selected "Run as Administrator," applied that setting, and it "sticks." But if I drag and drop that icon into ObjectDock, the "Run as Administrator" setting is lost.

I'm probably missing something easy but how do I get the  "Run as Administrator" setting to follow the icon onto ObjectDock?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. I tested and It work for me on my system. Need to know you on Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.

I'm using Win11, 24H2 OS Build 26100.3915

As you tested it, did you follow the same procedure I outlined or something else?

As you see on my short Gif, I did as what you mentioned above. And it work for me.

Thanks, the GIF was really small on my end on my phone, switched to a computer and yup, I see what you did.  I had only selected "Run as Administrator" from "Advanced" in Properties.  I had not gone to the Compatibility tab, I thought checking that box under "Advanced" would have done the same thing. Apparently not...

That worked, thanks!
