There is an issue, for some, where a right click on the desktop when it appears has Fences loading as expected. Can you confirm this works for you? Also, do you have DeskScapes 8 installed as well? There is also and issue (rare) with immovable icons when both are installed. In any case, both are being worked on.

You might get this if you did not reboot after the install. Also, try disabling your antivirus so that it still is so after a reboot and try to install \ use WindowBlinds again.

It sounds like something in your configuration files may be corrupt. First you will want to back up any dock settings you may have. To backup your ObjectDock settings: -Right Click on the dock and choose 'Settings' -Click 'Troubleshooting Options' -Click the 'Open ObjectDock folder so I can backup settings' --(C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\Stardock\ObjectDockPlus) -Copy contents to another location In ObjectDock, go to S

Do you have a mouse plugged into the Secondary, and if not, does it show if you do? Also, if you switch the Primary to a Secondary, and vice versa on the Secondary, does the same thing happen?

Make sure you do not have any specific rules set up that are possibly placing the icons on and alternate Desktop Page (Fences config, Sorting / organizing). Also, you might want to try restoring to a previous 'snapshot' to see if this resolves your issue. http://sd.stardock.com/sean/jingimages/2013-05-14_0817.png Worst case, you can, on the same config menu, 'Perform automatic layout&#39

[quote quoting="post"] If you make a fence from a directory and make the view for the fence 'List' it does what it is supposed to. If you then resize your screen resolution the view for that fence changes to 'Details'. Hope this can be fixed as I use fences a lot in list view and also have to change my resolutions quite often. It looks like your activation attempts actually failed. I have reset them here, please try again. It if is successful, you would have a tilessig .bin file(s) in your C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Registrations directory. If not, please place a support ticket at support@stardock.com

While you cannot turn off auto-arrange within a Fence (you can outside them), you can change how it arranges (name, size, etc).

Currently Start8, Decor8, DeskScapes 8, Fences 2, Multiplicity 2, Tiles, IconPackager, IconDeveloper , ModernMix and WindowFX 5 are designed to work with Windows 8. WindowBlinds should be ready in early to mid 2013. Other applications may or may not work. At this time though, they are not supported. We are updating more of our software as time goes on so keep an eye on our forums for more details.

Start8 will stop functioning if the trial has run its thirty days and it has not been activated. However, I do see that you did activate after this post. Let me know if that did not resolve your issue.
