Windows 7/8 style menu not showing up.

Hi there,

Loved the program the first time but it hasn't worked 100% since the first computer reboot.

Everything worked fine the first time but after restarting the computer, the Windows 7 or 8 style menu won't show up when I click on the flag or with the Windows key. Instead, I get the traditional Windows 8 start screen(can't choose a size either or maintain the taskbar at the bottom.)

 

All other functions are working properly but for some reason the start menu isn't being updated with the settings I chose. I've cleaned my registry and reinstalled the app, problem still persists.

 

Any help?

Start8 will stop functioning if the trial has run its thirty days and it has not been activated.  However, I do see that you did activate after this post.  Let me know if that did not resolve your issue.

Hi there,

 

I downloaded the trial at first and it worked just fine. After using it Start8 for an hour or so I rebooted the computer and once I logged back in Start8 was no longer working properly. (See my first post)

I purchased the app after that and also tried reinstalling, no luck.
