I do not see where I can update from my account. The link on the last sentence doesn't have a download link.
Has the HDMI superlag/crash been fixed yet (when connecting to a 2nd monitor smaller than your default monitor's resolution, it will cause a 5 minute system freeze and if click on anything, the desktop will crash)?
I temporarily disabled fences just to see if I was correct in blaming nvidia. I was wrong. When I disabled fences, it didn't cause the problem you were having (or me) anymore. So it is fences fault. Sorry about that man [e digicons]8C[/e] Although nvidia has been having several bad months, it's not them this time.
They've been fumbling for a while now. 5+ months. We just have to wait and see what the next driver holds next month. I actually reported this same issue on their forums a couple of days before I saw this thread lol. I don't remember a nvidia driver that didn't do this though unfortunately.
Tried that, days later when doing some renaming and deleting of files, it still happens. Not only that, but files seems to sometimes relocate on the outside of all of my fences or still bleed into other portals.
That's the nvidia driver for your graphic's card fault.
I only have fences and I'm on windows 7 64bit.
I get this as well. It says that the DesktopDock64.dll is faulty. Just got it now. That's why I'm telling.
I'm with the original poster. This program just doesn't work very good. Support tickets do no good for I asked for a fix months ago and still nothing. I have about 5 fences and everytime I delete something from one, there is a chance that a random item will bleed over from one fence to the other, destroying the program's purpose to begin with. And changing the names of some files causes multiple files to get the same name. VERY ANNOYING. I feel like I paid money for nothin
This has happened quite a few times for me too. There is also a problem where files/folder go into other portals without you telling them to do so. This negates this whole program's purpose.
I get this sometimes as well. Scarcely though.
Same here. Few items sometime go invisible as well.
It also has a lag distortion for a few seconds when you decide to 'refresh' the desktop. Prioritizing a refresh or start to a high level internally would be a good move. If they can somehow make it start at the exact same time as the windows shell, it would probably fix it. For example, the 360Desktop program does this flawlessly, but it is outdated and lacks many options to make it superior to Fences.
For TC, that 360 rotation of the desktops should be togglable via options if this is ever implemented ;)
Having an option to have the sound turn off by itself when the desktop is not in focus (no open windows) would be a great idea. And having it gradually come to a hault instead of the sound just turning off instantly when a window is opened would be nice. So would a volume slider in the internal program.
Hello, I've just installed this program on a trial basis. I would like to buy but I would like a few more features that would definitely solidify my purchase. 1. In the folder portal options section, can you add an option (3) that would allow you to either use vertical slidebars, horizontal slidebars, or both? 2. With the desktop pages options, may I request that you add a resizable (by stretching) horizontal slidebar option so
