I recently installed Windows 8 RTM (MSDNAA) version on my computer along with Start8 beta 3. Start 8 works fine for the most part except when it holds up the windows shutdown process. I often get a screen with the title “ Closing 1 app and shutting down ” which lists start8 along with the message “ This app is preventing shutdown ” and buttons “ Shutdown anyway ” and “ Cancel ”.
