@Neil Do think there is a chance that the "closing problem" after having done something in the "right-click-menu" is corrected in the nearer future, or is this a wanted design?

And still worse : If other folders are open too, they also are closed: What is this? One advise : compare the behaviour of win 7 start menu with start8, the good keep, the bad improve. And i think the pinning behaviour of win 7 is good.

You are right, I saw this wheel function in another start menu replacement (Classic shell), not in win 7 start menu.

When I open a folder in "all programs" to pin items to the start menu, after having pinned an item the folder closes automatically. This is annoying, please code such that the folder stays open, maybe that i have to do some more work there. Regards

Hi, if i select more than 14 items for the right side of the menu, still only 14 are visible. start8 v 1.0 @programmers : what did you check before releasing 1.0 ? To have enough space for all items is elementary!
