I noticed that it might not create the recent app if you use search to find the app shortcut and then launch it. But if you manually navigate the menu and launch the app directly, then it appears on the recent apps list.

Just to share, I've had issues with recently used app list not working correctly or search not finding new / installed apps. Disabling and re-enabling tracking app launches seems to have fixed the issue for now. Go to Settings -> Privacy & security -> General -> Let Windows improve Start and search results by tracking app launches. Turn it off and then on. It'll repopulate the recent apps list and now new shortcuts are being discovered by search when I begin to type app n
I'm using Windows 11. I thought the issue started happening right after the update, but I'll be happy to check the option if you could direct me to where to check for that option?
After the update Most recently used app list is empty, both in Windows 7 style and Moder style. Tried to uninstall and reinstall 1.24, with the list still showing up blank. The list showed up fine on 1.22 Pinned apps show up fine.
The test build seems to be working. Disabling news and interests works as well. Thanks for the quick replies. To go back to official releases, will I need to install older start10, and thin will update when final build is released? Or when you guys will do next official release the test build will offer to update?
Hello. I have an issue with Start10 menu where it hides right away after it is shown, before I have a chance to interact with it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to try to do to fix it? This problem only happens when taskbar is vertical. On horizontal taskbar seems to work fine. This only happens when menu is shown via Win key. Showing by mouse cursor works fine.
