I recently had a hard drive crash, due to a power brownout, and took my laptop to a local computer tech who replace the crashed drive with a new one and installed Windows 10 also. So I am not certain what could be the problem. We are currently in heavy rains here and when they let up I will check with him about the discrepancy in the update for Windows..
