Thanks for fixing pinning of jump list items to a pinned Start8 start menu. I've noticed there is still a minor bug: if you also pin the same program to the taskbar the jump list on the Start8 menu goes away. I know you've heard this before, but overall a great program fixing the MS faux pas. You also get high marks for being so responsive to the beta remarks and requests.

I have the same problem - sometimes. I've only seen the problem on cold start. I suspect it's an issue with how quickly the PC boots vs. how quickly Start8 starts. When I just log out and back in after the PC is already started, it goes to the desktop every time. I did note that Task Manager shows Start8 as a high impact on start-up. Thanks for the reply - I think I may see the issue. I had PowerPoint (and some others) pinned to the taskbar and also to Start8. The jump lists I'm seeing on the taskbar don't show up in Start8. When I unpinned from the taskbar, and then unpinned and re-pinned to Start8, the jump lists showed up in Start8. When I reversed (unpin from Start8, pin to taskber, pin to Start8) the jump list in Start8 again disappeared. My other item I think is a feature request to be able to pin a
Just installed V0.90 beta with W7 style Start menu. I think your definitely on the right track to fix a major W8 flaw. I've noticed jump lists on several of my programs (Foxit PDF, Quicken) work (THANK YOU), but none on MS Office 2010 products. Didn't know if this was an issue with Start 8, or MS office. I see that jump lists on items in the taskbar (including Office icons) do work in W8.
