Actually, I found out what was/is the problem. I use Sandboxie and applications mentioned above were sandboxed. As soon as I made that those apps not run sandboxed and then re-launched them, effect were working. So, to conclude, basically any application that runs Sandboxed WindowFX will have no effect on that app.

I'm using Windows 7 too , what do you mean don't worry about those apps ? Are they working in your case ? I'm worried about those apps because those are the ones that I use the most, Miranda and Firefox are the apps that I minimize/restore very often, so I would benefit from animations with those apps more than from any others apps. Another thing is that I just need a straight answer about it before I go ahead and purchase WindowFX. Right now I'

Trying out currently before I purchase it and so far I'm loving it ! However, I noticed that effects are not working for some applications, I can name some : uTorrent, Firefox, Miranda... By effects I mean minimize, open, close, restore. They are working with some other applications. I'm not sure what's in question here, so here I am asking. Is it because I'm using the Free version right now or is WindowFX supposed to behave like that ?
