I think at this point, this is a lost cause. Extremely disappointed and I feel like a fool for backing this project so far in advance. I will just wait for games to go on sale after release from now on.

I got the mail, and the name was approved mail, but the planet was never put in the game. My wife was bummed.
Season pass looks like the way to go. ( I hate microtransactions) I wouldn't mind seeing some minor base building, like what was in SC3.
Hey, Acinom Prime was mine! (after my wife's name, Monica) So I guess I have been wasting my time looking for it? I finished the game and spent about 10 additional in game hours looking for it :(
I wouldn't worry, there have been updates pretty regularly in the founders vault.
I kind of a agree with the warping part. Maybe I am just old fashion, but fast travel in an exploration game... meh. The struggle to get back home to your safe and happy place should be a mission, not just something a click away. I guess if the stations are fewer and far between and the galaxy is fricken insanely huge it won't be so bad. Might be a good choice if you are looking at DLC down the line, since you can just make a certain starbase the point of entr
I want to be able to ram stuff.... because I suck at combat.
Awesome, I have already heard all these guys stories.
Planets should be a mystery until you are actively scanning/orbiting them. Not like a dating app where I am just swiping left until one looks interesting.
It is in my backlog, but I played about 20 minutes of it. It reminds me much more of old Final Fantasy with FTL graphics/sound/crew management/procedurals/everythingelses. It didn't remind me of star control at all. More of a turn based, 'oh crap we need a resource' grinder. It is good on it's own, but the references I saw are straight from Star Trek, although A lot of SC2 came from that same source I am sure. It is a good ga
It looks like I can't download anything from the vault because of a HTTP 500 error.
I am getting the same error, maybe I was deemed unworthy
Makes sense, some of you guys are nuts. Although I do have 60 hours in No Mans Sky, so maybe I am the one who is nuts
They should announce that they decided to make it iOS exclusive today
Julie Ann T. Was my favorite. I already know I want to work with her...
Considering an "unhealthy" interest of Arilou/Greys in human race, I'd bring significance of human genome forward one way or the other (probably the most valuable trait/the most believable advantage human race has IMO).
I always just assumed the Arilou were humans from the future that came back to correct paradoxes from another traveling race (orz) in a never ending battle to prevent their (our) ow
I want to see rainbow worlds become highly contested hotspots, where you want to keep them a secret if found and for them to be the cornerstone of a races power. Control the Rainbow Worlds, control the galaxy. Perhaps make a few new rainbow worlds appear as a special type of supernova remnant in binary star systems as the story progresses. A fictional type 1d supernova for example that is triggered by 'design' <img src="http://
I would prefer it start with an Independence day type invasion.... we miraculously repel it, then first contact is made by a friendly but desperate alien race on the verge of extinction looking for our help and seek how it was possible that we could possibly have done such a thing. We try to help them, but fail and the friendly aliens are wiped out and we find out that we only survived our own invasion because of a behind the scenes intervention of the Arilou who h
I am in the middle of Rebel Galaxy myself. I have to say, I am not a big fan of the scaling.
The naming could also have a side/friendly contest, where the developers favorites (or random picks) could be given to a Rainbow World. (has a side effect of promoting higher quality submissions as well :)
I honestly only ever used the main ship in 2. I hated all of the fighters and never bothered to get good at any of them. I only used the fighter fleet to hold back up crew.
Honestly, I think there should be two modes of combat. An action and tactical mode. Action mode would be more of the traditional melee mode, maybe in isometric or 3rd person camera (must have asteroids and environmental hazards!) Tactical mode would be more like Star Wars Rebellion, and be more for people like me who are not in it for the action. Full controller support for the whole game would be my preference, which makes the second part trick
The thing for me is, I hated the combat. I would usually take one of every races ship in my fleet (just because)... but for combat I would just use my main overpowered ship. If this was a universe where SC2 had DLC, I wouldn't bother with it for that reason alone. If the combat is fixed in this version... I would want them all!
I am not really digging the Pixar/Spore planets. I liked feeling like Dr McCoy scanning a planet.... not Dr Suess
Arilou are almost a must have for me.... without precursors, having a race far advanced and to tie it to the rest of the series needs to happen somehow. Syreen could be explained pretty easily, y chromosome extinction isn't a new concept and a race of nomadic, humanoids exposed to radiation could make a lot of cool story points.
I want to be able to trade crew for tech.... ...along with a whole set of consequences for doing so Should be able to complete the game as both Space Savior and Space Asshole. Resources as a whole should be tight enough that finding a Rainbow World should be a huge deal, and keeping it's location secret from other species an even bigger deal!
