Nice program. However, they still haven't incorporated my suggestion. That is, whenever you have fences hidden and you download/drag/copy something to the desktop, it's also hidden. Instead, it's the other way around and you can't see what you just placed on your desktop until you unhide your fences with a double click. Sure you can exclude anything you place on your desktop from being hidden, but you have to first unhide fences, then select what it was you just placed on your desktop to be

No problem k10w3. I'll always try to help I can. [e digicons][/e]
That's the Yahoo Widgets Heads up Display (HUD). Pressing F8 when running Yahoo Widgets will bring up the HUD. You can change the function key by right clicking the Widgets icon in the tsskbar, selecting preferences, then select the general tab. Finally, reassign the function key. Hope this helps.
quoting post So, can we all just move on, buy Vista, and make some skins and icons for it?? No....some of us CAN'T. It's not a matter of desire, it's a matter of financial commitments and living within our means. Four days ago I bought a laptop with Vista on it, but if I didn't need a computer to perform my job and bring home a paycheck, and if my old one wasn't on life support, there is no way I COULD "just mo
I have Windowblinds 7 build 204 x86. Is it me, or it it slow all of the sudden. Specifically, the start menu mouseover effect lags as you mouseover your pinned programs area. It's just slower to highlight now and seems to lag. Overall, all my themes seem less responsive and I've tweaked every setting available. I had no issues with Windowblinds 6 and the first build or two of Windowblinds 7. I have uninstalled/reinstalled as well. Does anyone know of t
...And my original post still applies after more than two years. We still can't get the all programs mouseover fixed.
This still applies after more than two years.
Excellent! Congrats man! - Q
I remember when you were starting out on DA! You seem to have a knack for it and do a great job. Congrats Q! - Web (Qx9)
There are several nice skins included with WB6. However, I prefer not to use them because of the mouseover effect on the all programs located on the start menu. Is it not possible, after generations of Windowblinds, to actually make the "all programs" mouseover effect so that it's not a solid color as seen in so many skins? The non-attention to that detail has me using Aero more than WB6. At least some skinners try to avoid this glitch,
Do yourself a favor and save your current sound theme before using this program. Do that by going to the control panel, sound tab, and save your old sound scheme. Once you play with this program, go to control panel, sound, and select your original sound scheme from the drop down list. Then, do yourself another favor and uninstall this until they fix it and provide more themes. - Web
I hope all those caught in the floods make it through okay...a lot of hopes and prayers are with you. Ref WB6...Looks really nice, but... You know, one would think Stardock would fix the logoff/shutdown buttons and make them line-up correctly, especially if they're displaying their premier product in a screenshot. I'm a detailed oriented person and that glitch in the skin would bug the sh@t o
I suppose what I'm about to talk about would fall under the general OS customization category. Personally, I'm kind of tired of seeing skins and icons made for XP and not Vista. Yes, I realize a lot of people still have XP. If we made less "stuff" for XP, maybe folks would be more willing to upgrade their systems. I know, I know...it costs $ I've moved on to a more advanced operating system. I need Windowblinds and icons for it!! Sure I have my old dusty XP disk standing
A Vista SP1 would be nice about now, to correct driver issues among other bugs. I have a brand new Vista Home Premium set-up with a dead Hitachi 320gb SATA after using the system for 2 weeks. I'm back to my two IDE drives, which work fine. My 7950GX2 kicks butt, and the latest forceware drivers seem to work fine...SLI enabled. I've run into problems with selecting multiple files (Ctrl A) at times. I have to reset my folder options to their default settings to help with that problem. Overal
Some of these posts are funny...like filing a 1099. If I were a master, it might put me into another tax bracket...not a good thing. Anyway, It's not about the money...I was curious how popular these master skins are and why we don't see the download count. Skinners, generally speaking, like to see how well their stuff is liked. Come on, those of us who have submitted something have checked download
Just curious, why we don't get to see the download count on Master skins. We'd like to see how they stack-up, and also multiply the download cound by the cost of the skin and see how much money these skins are making. This might inspire some of us to become Master skinners! - Web (aka Qx9)
Got it...thanks!
Gents, I've submitted a theme called Windows Generations and I had to update the screenshot. I looked for a "contact us" link on wincustomize, but couldn't find one. I'm only asking for the newest file and screenshot to be posted. Thanks!

Do people who submit skins, icons, themes get a cut on the amount of cash this plan will generate? ...say $.05/download? Probably not, but I thought I'd ask. heehee
Actually...no Jafo. I was going to remove the comment about the 3,500 downloads and only one comment. If you can remove just that comment, I'd appreciate that.
I'm not able to edit comments on one of my gallery submissions. I had previsously edited it, but now get this message: Send your Comments: You are not authorized to perform this action. This is the link : https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?cmd=EditComment&LibID=29&SkinID=7891&RID=284938 So...I'm just wondering why I can't edit my comments anymore? Any help/suggestions/reasons why? - Qx9
